Becoming a member
Membership is open to anyone who has ever worked for the Foreign and Commonwealth Office or the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office or its overseas posts. The subscription is £25 per calendar year.
Joining is easy – just two quick steps.
Step One
You pay a pro-rata portion of the annual £25 subscription, depending on when in the calendar year you join.
As soon as you have done so, you will be able to access the current edition of the Association’s magazine Inside Out.
Step Two
You will gain access to the remaining website
Once we’ve confirmed your membership eligibility and
We have set up a payment plan to collect your subsequent annual subscriptions.
You will be notified by email when this has been done. The direct debit will be managed solely by GoCardless. The FCDOA will not see your financial details. You can cancel your direct debit at any time through your online bank account.
Once this second step is completed, you will immediately become a full member – able to access the entire website, including the search members tool, receive our regular newsletter and use all of the Association’s facilities.
